The Challenge
Lexus is known for its luxury vehicles, but its reach extends far beyond the world of cars. Saatchi & Saatchi Tokyo, Resn and Lexus International teamed up to create a place where Lexus could communicate all of its initiatives. Our challenge was to streamline their digital communications and give users a broader appreciation for all things Lexus.
We began the project with a deep dive into the existing Lexus brand. Our aim was to create a cohesive experience from multiple Lexus brand activities for a clearer vision with more valuable content.
The Approach
We create a flexible design system that was divided into a three-tiered structure - Lexus Experiences, Highlights (stories) & models. Each of these sections had various design features to optimize for viewer’s pleasure as well as optimal presentation of content.

It was important that the complete experience maintained a cohesive aesthetic, ensuring that every element consistently conveyed the Lexus vision.
The Result
The result was a site that was welcoming, 
yet bold; simple yet sophisticated; easy to navigate, yet rich in content. We wrapped it all in an elegant design with fluid motion that lets the content shine and users Experience Amazing. In addition, we provided guides and layouts, coupled with a CMS so Lexus were free to update and maintain Discover Lexus with full control.
