oTobike* provides motorcycle riders with an interface to better connect them with their friends and with the road as they ride.

Riding is all about adventure, experience, and connection, keeping the riding part simple and enjoyable. Yet, planning, coordination, and navigation can complicate things. That's why I created the oTobike app for myself and friends—to stay connected during rides and make navigation easier. The app is optimized for on-the-go use, with touchpoints designed for easy interaction, even with gloves on. It also offers the convenience of using your phone as a bike key and streamlining bike customization with a sleek, modern look.

Different users, especially riders have strong and unique preferences. Some would prefer to be directly connected to the road, others like clear guidance on where to go next. The app has many layouts and configurations to cater to any riders needs or to the circumstance.
Interactions
for riding
oTobike's interface simplifies interacting with your journey while on the move. Our aim is to provide safe and convenient ways for users to access information and adjust settings, even with gloves on and minimal eyes-off-road interactions. We've also created an easy way for riders to communicate with their group on the road—selecting points of interest (POIs) and sharing them with friends on the go. With single-touch access, you can quickly access the options you need when you need them.

Maps
Navigating while riding can be challenging, especially with dense map solutions. For riders, interface design is crucial—it must be instantly clear and accessible, minimizing time with eyes off the road. oTobike simplifies maps to show only essential information for the next turn, minimizing distractions and helping riders stay focused. Peripheral roads are minimized, and only key intersecting roads are shown to aid in orientation and correct for GPS lag.
Route Discovery 

& Curation
oTobike streamlines route planning for riders. We offer tailored options, including local 'secret' spots, adjustable trip durations, and mood-specific routes. Plus, we solve the issue of sharing and saving multi-stop routes, making customization and sharing effortless. Using rider data, we automatically generate curated routes, considering factors like fuel consumption, rider skill level & time availability. These routes enhance your journey without added effort.
Social Riding
With oTo, losing your group during a ride is no longer a hassle. Simply select your crew's icons to instantly see everyone's location. If you fall behind, oTo can guide you to your nearest buddy. And if you lose someone, you can easily locate them on the map. This stress-free feature, accessible during rides, simplifies many situations.
Emergency Protocol
As a rider it’s a matter of when not if you’ll have a fall. oTo takes advantage of user’s gyroscope sensor in their device as well as signal received from the bike to determine if a rider has fallen. oTo will check to see if the rider is okay or if they need to request for help. Help could be from friends or emergency services. Depending on settings, once the modal has timed out due to no interaction, a message with GPS location will be sent to the rider’s friends & emergency contact if riding alone.
